Feature Release: Session Metronome is Now Live on Lutefish!

Your sessions are set to be tighter than ever with the release of our new session metronome, now available to all Lutefish users!

In any jam session, one band member can activate the private and customizable metronome click track (instructions below) with the ability to customize the BPM (speed), volume, and timbre.

Session Metronome Key Features:

  • Tempo Control: Adjustable from 30 to 252 BPM.
  • Sound Options: Choose from click, wood block, or cowbell.
  • On-the-Fly Flexibility: Can be toggled on or off at any time during a session.
  • Private Playback: Only the user who activates the metronome hears it, and it does not appear on session recordings.

So far, musicians are digging the session metronome:

“It was super easy to integrate, and can really help for demoing out songs as you’re trying to finalize a tempo before committing to scratch tracks in a DAW.”

    -  Spencer Askin, The Gromble (LA-based recording artist) and Music Educator

But we want YOUR feedback too! Reach out to us on social, email, or through our website. Our product team is dedicated to constantly improving your Lutefish experience.

Now hop in a jam session and give the session metronome a spin!

How to use the session Metronome:

Step 1: Click the metronome icon from the toolbar.

Step 2: Set your BPM with the first slider. Your current BPM displays to the upper-right.

Step 3: Set the metronome volume with the second slider.

Step 4: Choose your timbre (click, wood knock, and of course… cowbell!).

This is the first in a series of feature releases the Lutefish Product Team is set to release this summer, so stay tuned, and thank you for being a part of the Lutefish Community!
